What is Cash Back Powered by Rakuten?
Our consumer-facing site, ShopStyle.com, has a Membership program with a reward component called Cash Back powered by Rakuten. With this program, ShopStyle members who shop certain retailers will receive Cash Back. This reward program is only eligible on orders made directly through ShopStyle.com. This program runs independent of Collective Voice and will not impact your commission.

Will Cash Back impact the commission rates I earn?
No. This feature only impacts orders initiated from ShopStyle.com, our consumer facing site.
Will Cash Back appear on my Product Widgets, Looks & Collections, video content or any other Collective Voice content featured on my blog or social platforms?
No. None of your affiliate content will be involved with Cash Back.
Is there any way to integrate Cash Back into my affiliate links?
Not at this time.
Will my audience get Cash Back when shopping through my links on my blog, social channels or other platforms?
No. Cash Back will not appear on or be received from these links.
Will Cash Back show up on my ShopStyle Shop, as featured on ShopStyle.com?
Yes, Cash Back will appear on your ShopStyle Shop page. This will not impact your earnings—you will still earn your full commission (same as any other link) for anything sold via your Shop. Your audience, however, will receive the full Cash Back on valid purchases. Use this shopping incentive to your advantage and be sure to promote it to your audience as they would love Cash Back!
Will having Cash Back on my ShopStyle Shop impact my performance?
It should improve conversion, as cash rewards for shopping are an enticing incentive for shoppers.
Will Cash Back impact my Favorites on Product Widgets or any Sale Alerts sent to my audience through Favorites on Product Widgets?
No. Cash Back will only happen through orders initiated on ShopStyle.com. Nothing on your blog or any emails resulting from sign-ups for Favorites on Product Widgets on your blog will have any Cash Back marketing or receive Cash Back.
I do not want Cash Back on my ShopStyle Shop. Can I remove it?
Not at this time. Please note, Cash Back will not impact your commission, but may even increase conversion!
I have Looks featured in ShopStyle Trends (ShopStyle.com/Trends). Will Cash Back show on these featured posts or products?
Yes, however this will not impact your rate. You will still receive your commission for anything sold through the Shop or ShopStyle.com per usual.
Pro tip: By creating more looks for ShopStyle.com, or being a Contributing Editor, your Looks will convert even higher with Cash Back. Therefore, you will see more revenue for ShopStyle.com. If you are interested in the Contributing Editor program, be sure to use the #ContributingEditor tag when submitting Looks to be considered!
