What does CPA mean?
Cost per acquisition (CPA) is a commission-based program for Collective Voice creators. With CPA, creators will earn a percentage of the sales they drive. When transactions are confirmed as closed by the retailer, commissions will accumulate in your Collective Voice account. You can find your commissions here.
What are Affiliate Links?
Affiliate programs allow you to earn a commission by promoting products. You find a product you like, promote it to others, and earn a piece of the profit for each sale that you make. An affiliate link contains special tracking so that the affiliate platform (Collective Voice) can track the links, and their performance based on various metrics including sales and clicks, and attach the performance to the account that owns that content.
How does Collective Voice track my performance?
When you join the Collective Voice program, your account is assigned a unique identification number (UID). All content created using your Collective Voice account (including Text Links, Product Widgets, Looks & Collections, Favorites, your ShopStyle Shop--everything!) contains a special tracking code so that the affiliate network, the retailer, and our platform knows you’re the one referring traffic and sales to a retailer’s site.
Note: When someone clicks on your link and it leads to a purchase, you are given a commission percentage based on the entire trip sparked by your affiliate content and your revenue share. Learn more about your revenue share here.
